Hope Genty

Hope Genty, a Colorado transplant, found the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry at Northeastern while earning her Masters in Library and Information Science at Simmons University. Hope is currently a children's librarian at the Boston Public Library. “I serve on the LMF Board because campus ministry was able to make me feel at home when I was thousands of miles away. I want other students to feel like they can have a spiritual home no matter where they are from or where they go to school.”

He was a professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine from 1995 to 2010 before moving to the Forsyth Institute and Harvard University. “I serve on the LMF Board because I believe that campus ministry has an important place on today’s university campus. With the stresses of today’s world, including career decisions, a spiritual support system should be available to all.”
